Description: Falling Inward is a 90-minute Yin practice inspired by autumn’s invitation to slow down and turn inward. Through longer-held, mostly floor-based postures, mindful breathing and quiet pauses, you’ll have time to explore sensation and stillness without rushing.
Postures use very little muscular effort, with props available to support your body as you settle into each shape. You’ll be encouraged to find a sustainable level of sensation, allowing space to notice your breath, your body and the thoughts that arise along the way.
The extended format offers more time to move slowly, pause between postures and ease into the quieter side of your practice. We’ll close with an extended final rest, giving you space to settle before stepping into the week ahead.
What to Expect: Mostly seated and lying-down postures, long holds, quiet transitions, supportive props, mindful breathing and an extended final rest.
How It Should Feel: Spacious, introspective and unhurried, with moderate sensation and very little cardiovascular effort. Stillness can bring its own challenges, and you’re always welcome to adjust your position.
Best For: Beginners and experienced students looking to slow down, explore mobility and stillness, and make time for a longer, quieter practice.
What to Bring: a yoga mat, a water bottle and dress comfortably
